I'm a senior at the University of Hartford studying elementary education, currently doing my student teaching in a fifth grade classroom in Hartford. I'm starting to think about having my own classroom, and want to get as much inspiration from as many sources as possible.

This is about your post on writing prompts. I received three reading tests last Friday and for the essay the students had written and I quote: "idk" and I'm pretty sure I let an "Are you serious?" slip. There was a nice lecture the next day of how unacceptable those kinds of answers are.
